Anita Kazi

Behaviour Support Practitioner

"Behaviour is communication. My job isn't to 'fix' people, it's to understand them."

I believe the best behaviour support starts with curiosity, compassion, and a good conversation.

I specialise in supporting adults with psychosocial disability, complex mental health needs, and forensic histories. I also believe that a little humour, genuine connection, and celebrating the small wins can make a big difference.

No two people are the same, which is why no two Behaviour Support Plans should be either. I take the time to understand what matters to each person, recognise their strengths, and develop practical, evidence-based strategies that build independence and improve quality of life.

I bring together clinical knowledge with real-world experience, but above all, I believe lasting change happens through relationships, not paperwork.

Whether I'm working with participants, families, support workers, or multidisciplinary teams, my goal is simple: to help people feel understood, build confidence, increase independence, and know they have someone genuinely in their corner.
